Happy Friday, everyone! How has the week been treating you? I’m happy to say that overall, the week for me was MUCH better than last week was. I think I just needed the weekend to snap myself out of things.
BREAKING: I am currently a little bit sad at the moment. I had interviewed for a security liaison position last week, and had received an email earlier this morning to thank me for interviewing with them, but also to inform me that I was not selected for the position. While I am sad by it, I am glad that they actually took the time to reach out to me to let me know that I wasn’t selected. I have to say, of all the other jobs I have been applying to over the past year or so, this is the ONLY job that didn’t ghost me. I honestly don’t know why this has become a thing, but it’s very unprofessional.
Okay, moving on…
Time to share my weekly gratitude list. I’ve actually taken the time to make it all fancy and such, and might even break it out into its own separate blog post. I haven’t decided yet. So, what am I grateful for this week?
Here’s a look at what I wore to work this week. I hope you enjoy it. I’ll be taking the weekend to relax and recover a little from the sting of rejection. I sure do envy those who are able to just shrug off things like that. You may have noticed that I have switched up the aspect ratio of Friday’s pictures; it’s not your device acting up 😅 .. I used to use this aspect ratio in the past, and I may go back to it.
