It’s finally Friday, everyone. This is probably one of those weeks where I am even more so grateful that the weekend is finally here, as opposed to most other weeks.

Long story short, I had applied for a couple of positions over the last few weeks, only to find out this week that I didn’t get either one of them. One of them I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to be offered, but the other one I felt like I was a shoo-in, and I foolishly got my hopes up and excited about it. Needless to say, because I am the way that I am, I took it very personally. I considered taking a little break from social media for a little while to sort of lick my wounds and recover, but I have been feeling a little bit better today, so I may just take the weekend to do that. Jury’s still out, though.
