Happy Friday, everyone! I hope you all are doing well! It’s been yet another quite busy week for me (even with the holiday on Monday), and I’m glad to be able to rest for a minute.
The theme of the work week has far and away been, “SharePoint”. For better or for worse, I’ve been spending inordinate amounts of time getting cozy and intimate with SharePoint, as I have been working to set up a site, Teams group, and Outlook email group for our team. As much time as I’ve spent with SharePoint, I’m glad to FINALLY be near a point where I can call it finished. I had been having so many issues with getting things working like integration, that this was actually the FOURTH iteration of the site I had created. Any SharePoint experts out there that I might be able to pick their brain with any future questions, leave your contact info at the door before you leave. 😅😜
In personal news, I’ve been trying to do some things to help me be better organized and focused on tasks. It’s been too easy for me to be distracted by some other task, or some shiny social media thing that popped up. What did I do to help tackle this? One word:
reMarkable.
Heard of it? If not, I’m talking about this thing.
If you’re not familiar with it, it’s a STUPIDLY thin (like, so thin that you think it’s fake) e-ink device that does nothing but allow you to create and edit documents. You can use the pen to freehand draw or even hand write notes. I’m only on day number two with it, but I’m hoping it will help me develop better organizational habits.
If you have heard of it, or even have one, I’d love to hear what you think of it, and learn any tips you may have. 😁
Also in personal news, as my current job is starting to evolve and lean more and more into things cybersecurity (YAY!), I would like to try and bring back my “ask me” blog post series. If any of you have any kind of cybersecurity-related questions, please feel free to send them to me, and I’ll do my best to answer them in a post! You can see my past “ask me” posts in that particular section on the home page of my blog. Hope you like!
MOVING ON, it’s time to share my list of what I was grateful for this week. Behold!
And last, but certainly not least, here’s a look back at what I wore to work this shorter four-day work week. I hope you enjoy them.
Have a wonderful and safe weekend!
