Ah, Friday at last. I am so very glad to see you. It has been quite a week, and I am ready to put it behind me. For some reason, this week has been taxing on me, both mentally and emotionally. I’m grateful to report that those thoughts and feelings have slowly been heading by the wayside, and getting back to feeling more like myself.
You may have noticed that things like a little bit different here… again. 😂
I was becoming a little bored with the color scheme of my blog once I had migrated it to its new home, and so I’ve been playing around with things. I’m relatively happy(-ish) with how it looks now. I popped over to Pantone’s website to have a look at colors for autumn (yes, ‘autumn’, NOT ‘fall’). These colors seem to be pretty good to transition into the cooler (and colder) months. Depending on what it is next year, I may bring back my old tradition of choosing a color scheme that coincides with Pantone’s color of the year. If memory serves, this year’s color was in the peach family, which I didn’t feel really looked all that good on a blog.
As you probably know by now, I am a tad (😂) persnickety, and am never satisfied with how things look. I jokingly say that my blog is perpetually under construction. Thanks to you all for being good sports about it. 🙏🏼
Moving on, here’s my gratitude list for this week. As I mentioned, it was a real struggle week, so I was really reaching for SOMETHING to be grateful for some of the days.
