Happy Friday!
Geez o’ Pete, it’s so hard to focus on something when an earworm of a song comes on, and you just HAVE to listen to it.
Oh, and happy TTPD day!! 🫶🏼🤍🥳
And NO, I have not yet listened to it. I’ve been at work all day, and it’s going to be hard for me to function if I’m a blubbering mess with tissues up my nose. That’s just not a pretty look for anyone. I’ll probably be listening/blubbering/wiping nose from the comfort and privacy of my home sometime this weekend. I don’t need the other members of the household ‘giving me the business’ either when I do listen. 😜
I’ve been watching a bit of classic television the last couple of days, so I’ve been picking up ‘ye olde tyme’ sayings like, ‘giving me the business’. That’s right in line with other popular words/phrases like:
- Jeepers…
- Oh, that’s swell…
- Mom’s gonna be real sore…
There are plenty others, but those were just off the top of my head. I think some of them need to make a comeback. That’d be real neat. 😉
Okay, okay, moving on, it’s time to share my weekly gratitude list. Here ya go!

Oh, lastly, I’ve been doing a little more tweaking and refining of things on my blog, so things might look a little weird/strange as I work to sort things out. My blog is pretty much under a perpetual state of construction. 😅
